As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower provides an insightful look into the performance of leading Film & Television applications on the unified platform. These apps have shown varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, underlining their presence in the digital entertainment landscape.

Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies saw an upward trend in weekly active users, rising from 227K to 360K over the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 37K in early April before settling around 20K towards the end of June. Revenue mirrored this pattern, with a strong finish at $13M in the final week.

Tubi: Movies & Live TV, despite not generating revenue, maintained a solid download count, starting at 30K and experiencing a mid-quarter spike to 34K. Weekly active users began at 303K but saw a decline, ending the quarter at 268K.

Pluto TV: Watch & Stream Live also operated with no revenue, yet downloads saw a gradual increase from 21K to 24K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users showed resilience, recovering from a dip to 99K in late April to 115K in the final week.
